We are seeking an amazing Data Scientist! 

Who are they?
Swiss HealthTech company - if you are a surgeon before an operation you need to make sure, that the patient will get better from this.
Up until now, a surgeon would make decisions on gut feeling and now they are building a system that will support these processes based on patient data.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for somebody who's got extensive experience with sparse data sets, binary classifiers. The ideal candidate should have background in healthcare, but it's not a deal-breaker. You can be an introvert as long as you're not a party pooper! It would be nice if you've had a medical background, patient data handling.

What you will do?

You are going to work on developing a binary classification model predicting the treatment success/failure based on (1) Minimal Clinically Important Difference or (2) Substantial Clinical Benefit improvements.
Multiple failure identification analyses will be needed. For each analysis, different classification models based on deep-learning/artificial intelligence algorithms (random forest, deep neural network, logistic regression, decision trees…) will be created to help to predict those failures. The performance of the models will be assessed and compared using accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, NPV, TPV, F1 score, recall, AUROC…

Job requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
  
• Excellent Python skills
• Jupyter Notebook knowledge
• Snowflake, MySQL or PostgreSQL knowledge
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• English proficiency (B2 level minimum)
  
• Team player

Bonus points for:

• Medical background, patient data handling
• Familiarity with cloud services like Amazon Redshift, Azure Synapse, etc
• Setting up DevOps architecture for AI/ML projects
