About our client

The role

If you are a PHP Developer with e-commerce experience and you are looking for new adventures - this may be a perfect match ;) As part of our client's IT team, you will be jointly responsible for the development, integration, testing, and documentation of the online shop. Close collaboration and direct communication with other team members and the client is an important part of our client's delivery process. You can be sure that your voice will be heard and that you will have an impact on team’s decisions, regardless of your role.

Our tech

The currently used technologies for the new systems are the main AWS services, bound to the default shopware requirements. Basically everything you need to run the PHP Symfony Framework in combination with MariaDB. An event-driven API-based microservices concept for a highly scalable environment is the goal. Underlying technologies are Docker running on ECS.  We also have a heavy focus on GitLab automated pipelines for creating a well-tested and rock-solid infrastructure.

Here's how we do it:
Technologies in use at the moment and in the future:

  • PHP 7.2+
  • Symfony 4+
  • MySQL 5.7
  • Docker
  • Terraform with Terragrunt
  • AWS
  • Git and GitLab

Job requirements

You should apply if you have:

  • Min 2 years of commercial experience in PHP

Your Mindset

Love learning new things and not knowing something is just a new challenge for you and if you know something you feel thrilled to share this knowledge. If you believe that quality is the responsibility of the whole team, you have some commercial and delivery awareness and if SOLID principles are your bread and butter, then you will be more than happy to collaborate with us.
